Heart Health “For our people, By our people”

In June 2009, DYHS in conjunction with The Heart Foundation implemented the heart health program, “For our People, By our People”.

Marmun Pit Stop

In 2004, DYHS adopted an initiative specifically targeted at men; the Marmun Pit Stop.

Stolen Generation - Bringing them Home

The Stolen Generation program provides a comprehensive service to improve the social and emotional well-being of Aboriginal people in the Perth metropolitan region.

Maternal and Child Health Program

This program aims to improve health of women during and after pregnancy and also young children especially aged 0-5 years

Home and Community Care Program

Derbarl Yerrigan's Home and Community Care (HACC) program aims to provide a comprehensive, coordinated and integrated culturally appropriate service to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander frail aged people and young people with a disability with in the Perth Metropolitan area.

Maddingtion Clinic

Maddington Centre

The Maddington site is a community orientated service with a commitment to delivering the best possible service to clients. The GP Clinic at Maddington is situated to cover the south east corridor of the Perth metropolitan area including Cannington and Armadale. The GP Clinic is supplemented by Ear and Eye Health Workers visiting and a visiting Physiotherapist. Alongside the GP Clinic are the programs of Maternal and Child Health and Environmental Health which cover the entire metropolitan region.
