As this is a residential care facility, it operates 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. However, visitors are restricted to the hours of 10.30am to 8.30pm to enable the best client care and rest.
The Elizabeth Hansen Autumn Centre has been established to provide culturally secure services for Aboriginal people who are required to reside in Perth to access renal dialysis services and short term medical procedures.
Services and facilities offered by the Elizabeth Hansen Autumn Centre include:
- Meals and accommodation consistent with medical, social and cultural needs
- Access to Aboriginal Health Workers
- Clean and hygienic rooms and group areas
- Patient focus groups
- Assistance with PATS documentation
- Health Promotion and dietary education
- Access to allied health services
- Social interaction through art therapy and activities programs
- Computer access
- Blue telephone
- Pool table
- Bar-B-Q (no BYO meat)
- 24 hour staff coverage
The facilities were refurbished in 2004 and we now offer a very comfortable, clean and friendly environment both indoors and out.
