Heart Health “For our people, By our people”

In June 2009, DYHS in conjunction with The Heart Foundation implemented the heart health program, “For our People, By our People”.

 

Marmun Pit Stop

In 2004, DYHS adopted an initiative specifically targeted at men; the Marmun Pit Stop.

 

Stolen Generation - Bringing them Home

The Stolen Generation program provides a comprehensive service to improve the social and emotional well-being of Aboriginal people in the Perth metropolitan region. 

 

Maternal and Child Health Program

This  program aims to improve health of women during and after pregnancy and also young children especially aged 0-5 years 

 

Home and Community Care Program

Derbarl Yerrigan's Home and Community Care (HACC) program aims to provide a comprehensive, coordinated and integrated culturally appropriate service to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander frail aged people and young people with a disability with in the Perth Metropolitan area.

Derbarl Yerrigan Health Service Executive Committee

The Governing Body of Derbarl Yerrigan Health Service Inc is the Executive Committee, who are responsible for upholding and promoting the objectives as set out in the DYHS Constitution.

The Executive Committee,is elected every two years by the community at an Annual General Meeting.

The Executive Committee consists of a President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary and eight Executive  Members.

A copy of the "Rule Book" is available upon request to the Personal Assistant.
